  • This painting capture the peaceful view of a cottage by the water surrounded by breathtakingly detail flowers and trees. There is a lot of color and texture used to create this work of art.Seaside Hideaway brings forth a glorious sunset, spray from the breaking waves drenches the air with mist, and a radiant light surrounds clouds and swells with its golden light, until the eye can barely tell where the sky ends and sea arises.
  • Thomas Kinkade was born on January 19th, 1958 and sadly passed away on April 6, 2012. He was an American painter of popular realistic, bucolic, and idyllic subjects. He is best known for the mass marketing of his work as printed reproductions via The Thomas Kinkade Company. He focused on landscapes including a range of objects including, churches, cottages, light houses, gardens and bridges.
  • I chose this piece of art because i have admired his work for so many years that i could not resist to add it to my collection. This painting is so very beautiful and peaceful, it captures feeling of serenity, safety and calmness. The colors used in the painting give it a warm and welcoming feel and i believe that that is what make his work so appealing, as it all has this effect on me.
