  • Graduated from Central Michigan University with a BFA on 2D, emphasis on printmaking. Taro Takizawa is a print maker/artist who focusing on relief printing, drawing and 2D designs. He makes images connecting what he have experienced in Japan where he grew up and in the U.S. since he moved here in 2002. His works contain a western and eastern aesthetic with appreciation of traditional print process with contemporary images and materials.
  • Gallery quality Giclée print on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper using Epson K3 archival inks. Custom trimmed with 1″ border for framing.
  • I chose this work of art because I really like the  Chinese heritage that is presented. There was a lot of work put into this piece and it deserves to be appreciated. Due to the printmaking there is a cartoon like look to the piece and i really like it. The simple colors put an emphasis on the detail as well.
